ABOUT THE CHURCH

Victory Chapel was founded in 1989 in Columbus, Montana, a community of approximately 2000 people, nestled at the confluence of the Stillwater and Yellowstone Rivers.

The church is an affiliate member of the Association of Faith Churches and Ministers (AFCM) based out of Willmar, Minnesota. The president and founder of AFCM, Rev. Jim Kaseman, is a 1975 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rhema Bible Training Center was founded by Kenneth E. Hagin when God ministered to him to “Go and teach my people faith.”

Therefore, Victory Chapel is a Word of Faith church which uses practical teaching from the Bible to teach people to walk by faith. We are a Spirit-filled group of believers, who believe in the gifts of the Spirit and that each believer can hear from God for direction in their individual lives. Victory Chapel accepts the Scriptures from the Holy Bible as the revealed will of God, the all sufficient rule of faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity. The Bible is the Inspired word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason.

The triune Godhead is comprised of three (3) separate and distinct personalities, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

ABOUT YOUR FUTURE

Every human being, that is currently walking the earth, is first a spirit being that possesses a soul (mind, will, and emotions) and lives in a body.

These mortal bodies are slowly decaying back to the dust from which they came. However, the spirit and soul of a man are eternal because they were created in God’s image. God is eternal, and therefore, we are eternal.

The question is…”Where are you going to live eternally?”

According to the Bible, there are only two possible places to live when your spirit and soul leave your body. The choices are Heaven and Hell. Heaven is a peaceful existence with God and hell is a place of torment with Satan.

The following question then presents itself. “Are you going to go to heaven when YOU die?”

If you’re not sure, then we have good news for you. The Bible says in the book of Romans chapter 10, verses 9 & 10 that if a man believes in his heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and with his mouth confesses Jesus as Lord, he will be saved.

Saved from what you might ask. From HELL to HEAVEN!!!! Now that’s good news.

It’s not based on past sins or how good a person is. Jesus dying on the cross 2000 years ago was a free gift from God to make up for our sins. There’s nothing we could do, therefore, God sent His Son to die for us. All we have to do is believe that story and ask the One who God raised from the dead to come into our lives and save us.

How much simpler can it get? Are you ready to accept this free gift and secure your future in heaven?

Then sincerely pray this prayer from your heart to God.

Dear God, Thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on that cross for my sins. I believe with all my heart that Jesus went to hell for me and you raised Him from the dead. Dear Jesus, I ask you to come into my life this very moment and be my Lord and my Savior. Thank you for saving me now. I now have a future in heaven. AMEN.

Congratulations!!! You are now a child of God with Jesus Himself living in your heart to love you and help you with all the affairs of life. It’s now important to fellowship in a good church.

ABOUT OUR OUTREACHES

At Victory Chapel, we believe any church that is alive for Jesus Christ must live outside of the four walls of the building they meet in on Sunday morning. Therefore, we are constantly seeking God for effective strategies to reach children, teens, and adults in our community and the surrounding area with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the past, we have sent teens to an annual summer youth camp in Minnesota, we offer regular services for children, and numerous events for adults and families. These events range from community barbecues to water baptisms down at the river.

Whatever it takes to reach the lost, we want to do it. We are always interested in being a good witness for theLord and reaching people in a loving manner.

ABOUT HEALING FOR YOUR BODY

Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross Jesus Christ became sin and sickness providing both salvation and divine healing for all mankind, being justified freely by His Grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. For by grace we are saved through faith.

…Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases…Psalm 103:3

Jesus took the source of all sickness and disease upon Himself when He died on that cross. All we need to do is accept that as truth and receive healing for our bodies today.

…By the stripes that wounded Jesus, we are healed and made whole.” I Peter 2:24

Begin to say with your mouth, “I am healed” Declare it from the mountaintops and the valleys…”I have divine health in my body because of the blood of Jesus.”

That’s Good News, and that’s why they call it the Gospel.
